4 DAYS OLDONYO LENGAI TREKKING
Tanzania safaris trekking oldonyo lengai in Tanzania which is the only active mountain. The locals Maasai called Oldonyon lengai that means – Mount of God in English language, the maasai believe the mountain belong to God as they climb up there for praying and believe God lives on this beautiful mountain that stands at mt 2900 above the sea level. This itinerary is suitable to all people who are fit and really enjoying the culture mixed with adventures of oldonyo lengai trekking. After the trek you will spend one days relaxing at the camp over view the spectacular view of Lake Natron as well as oldonyo lengai.
DAY 1
Pick up from Arusha and transferred to Lake Natron the northern part of Ngorongoro conservation area. On your way today, you may spot some animals like zebras, gnus, giraffes and more, enjoy your packed lunch in the afternoon over view oldonyo lengai. We arrive in late afternoon for relaxations, enjoying sunset dinner. You will start trekking at 11:00am
DAY 2
Today you will continue heading up to the summit and later descend back to your camp for breakfast and relaxations. F/B
DAY 3
Today after leisurely breakfast you will take a walk visit Lake natron that attracts thousands of flamingoes also lake natron is the major breading site for flamingoes. Later walk back to the camp for hot lunch and relaxations. Later you will be guided to water fall and enjoying swimming on natural swimming pool. Then back to the camp for dinner and overnight. F/B
DAY 4
Today after leisurely breakfast you will be guide to the village for the masai walk cultural experience the way of their life as well as dancing. Later back to the camp for hot lunch and after lunch fare well to Lake natron and drive back to Arusha where your tour ends.
